MY STORY
Since I was young, I’ve always seen life as a series of chapters. Each one unique, some extraordinary, others challenging, but all of them shaping me into who I am today.
The easiest way for you to get to know me? Let’s take a walk through some of my life’s chapters—the lessons learned, the wild detours, and the moments of growth that got me here.
20’s – THE WILD EXPERIMENT
Ah, my 20s. A time for bold decisions and (slightly wild) adventures—sorry, Mom! I left Honolulu for the cold, faraway suburbs of Boston to study Human Development at Boston College. Why? Because I needed space to breathe, figure out who I was, and live on my own terms.
That decade was all about exploring, making mistakes, and setting the stage for what would come next. I scooped ice cream, I ran competitively, completed marathons, and pushed my body to the limit (sometimes too far). I spent a semester “studying” on a boat, sailing around the world—soaking in different cultures, perspectives, and, let’s be honest, probably had a bit too much fun.
After grad work at UMass Amherst in Sports Management, I was hired away by the top sports agent of the time, diving headfirst into the high-energy world of professional athletics. I worked for the Angels baseball team, bounced between LA and Newport Beach, and lived a fast-paced life in sports marketing. I dated an NFL athlete, partied in all the hot spots around the world, and felt the kind of fearless energy that only comes when you’re figuring out who you’re meant to be.
My 20s were messy, thrilling, and exhilarating—a whirlwind of ambition, exploration, and independence that laid the foundation for everything that came next.
30’s – BUILDING THE BLUEPRINT
My 30s were the "check off the boxes" years. I met a handsome man, moved back to Hawaii (something I always swore I wouldn’t do), got engaged, married in a white church, started a business with my siblings, built my dream home, had two amazing daughters, and, of course, added a dog to complete the picture. It was a whirlwind of building—a family, a career, a life.
But let’s be real: it wasn’t all picture-perfect. It was also a decade of surviving each day, navigating the complexities of marriage, balancing work and family, and redefining relationships with my siblings (and business partners). I cherished the magic of seeing the world through my daughters’ eyes, traveling, reconnecting with old friends, and creating memories I’ll carry forever.
Looking back at photos from this era, I just want to reach through the frame and give that Steph a big hug. She’s tired, confused, and doing her best to hold it all together. You can see it in my tired eyes—the weight of trying to be everything for everyone. It was a beautiful chapter, but also one that shaped me in ways I didn’t even realize at the time.
40’s – BREAKING & BECOMING
Oh, my 40s. This chapter was messy, turbulent, and transformational. It cracked me open, forcing me to face my fears, do the work, and step into my true self. I was drowning in a marriage that didn’t feel right, and for the first time, I had to stop, quiet my mind, and listen to what my heart—and body—were screaming at me. In an effort to avoid my reality, I threw myself into everything—charity work, girls' trips, anything that would get me off the island. Escapism became my life. But no amount of distraction could silence the voice inside telling me that I needed to deal with my life, not just run from it.
Then, I did something life-changing—I went to The Hoffman Process. It was one of the hardest yet most necessary experiences of my life, forcing me to unpack years of conditioning, patterns, and beliefs that had been keeping me stuck. Alongside therapy, retreats, and the life-changing guidance of a coach, I finally did the hard work to untangle the mess, heal, and rebuild.
I made the big decision to move my family to California, divorced the father of my children, and faced the daunting unknowns of starting over. It was terrifying and overwhelming, but I knew deep down that staying stuck was no longer an option.
I learned the tools I needed to move from that paralyzing chapter to the next one—a chapter filled with more love (I’m now with the love of my life), fulfillment, and harmony than I ever thought possible.
Was it easy? No. But it was worth every tear, every sleepless night, and every uncomfortable step out of my comfort zone. This chapter was about letting go of the “shoulds,” stepping into radical self-trust, and realizing that true happiness only comes when you stop outsourcing your worth.
My 40s gave me resilience, self-love, and the unshakable belief that no matter how stuck you feel, you can rewrite your story.
50’s – LIVING IN ALIGNMENT
Now, here I am in my 50s, thriving in a way I never thought possible. This chapter is all about giving back. The work I did in my 40s catapulted me into a mission that feels like my calling: helping women thrive.
My journey took a transformative turn when I discovered peptides—a true game-changer that unlocked new levels of vitality, performance, and balance I didn’t know were possible. Peptides didn’t just optimize my health; they completely reshaped how I think about aging, longevity, and wellness.
That discovery inspired me to create LOOP, a space where women can learn about science-backed solutions, personalized coaching, and powerful tools to feel their absolute best. I’ve realized I’m obsessed with helping women become super agers—showing them that life gets better with every year. Aging isn’t something to fear; it’s an opportunity to shed expectations, embrace your true self, and step into your wisdom.
Once I started sharing this mission with friends, they laughed and said, “Of course! You’ve been doing this for years!”
